TablePlus Windows is coming to public beta
Today, we just delivered the last private beta build of TablePlus Windows. From next month, September, it will be available for public beta and we will start receiving bug report and feature requests.
Of course, the public beta will be stable enough for production.
What’s ready for this public beta?
1. Native Build for Windows
Everything is built natively and this Windows version is compatible with all setting and data from the OSX build.
2. Native driver support for:
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- Microsoft SQL Server
3. Connectivity
- Full support for connection configuration including username, password, native SSH with a private key.
- Create, edit connection group.
- Test connection before saving.
4. Table tool
- A grid view for data table and its structure.
- Multiple workspaces supported.
- Browse, update, and delete row data
- Changes preview and commit buttons are also in use.
5. We have improved some UX in the SQL Query Editor
- Syntax highlighting
- Preview SQL
- Save last query
- Result rows counter.
- Ability to detect and run the statement under the cursor.
- Streaming result row by row. When you run a heavy operation, it likely hangs until the result is loaded fully. TablePlus offers the ability to stream result which allows you to see the result loaded row by row right after executing the result.
- Autosuggestion: Will be added in the next version.
That’s pretty much everything for the last private beta version of TablePlus. Thank you for waiting, we look forward to the first public release and hope to hear more from you!
