GUI Tools Database Objects

Function

Functions are listed in the Functions section of the left sidebar. They are available for databases that support them, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and SQL Server; SQLite has no functions. Changes are kept locally until you press ⌘ + S1 to commit them to the server.

If you don't see the Functions section, click the settings button next to the search field at the top of the left sidebar and tick Settings > Show function section.

Create function

  1. Right-click the left sidebar and choose New > Function/Procedure, or click the arrow next to the + button at the bottom of the left sidebar and choose New Function/Procedure.
  2. Write the CREATE FUNCTION statement in the editor.
  3. Press ⌘ + S to create the function.

Edit function

  1. Click the function in the left sidebar to open its definition.
  2. Edit the SQL code.
  3. Press ⌘ + S to commit the change.

Delete function

  1. Right-click the function in the left sidebar and choose Delete..., or select it and press Delete.
  2. Press ⌘ + S to commit the change.
