CSV File

These are the default CSV options TablePlus uses when you copy rows as CSV and when you paste CSV data into a table. Set them in the CSV default group on the General tab of the Preferences window (⌘ + ,).¹

Option	Choices
Delimiter	Tab, , or ;
Swap	Quote if needed, ", ' or Space
Line break	\n, \r\n or \r
Decimal	. or ,

• Delimiter separates the columns.
• Swap is the quote character wrapped around values. Quote if needed only quotes values that need it.
• Line break separates the rows.
• Decimal is the decimal separator for numbers.

Don't use , for both Delimiter and Decimal. TablePlus warns you if you do.
